Our Mission
We founded Legally Nanny® on the premise that people should be able to hire nannies, caregivers and other household employees legally and without unnecessary effort and expense. We've grown to become the leading law firm representing home care agencies, nanny agencies and household employers. We understand this unique area of the law and are proud to serve as your home care legal resource.
Our History
When we decided to hire a nanny for our daughter, we were determined to hire someone legally. However, even as an experienced labor & employment attorney, Bob spent countless hours researching the complicated federal and state statutes and regulations governing household employees. Frustratingly, no one could provide all the California and federal legal and tax information in one easy to understand place. Thus, the concept of Legally Nanny was born. At Legally Nanny, we are committed to helping families employ caregivers, nannies and other household employees legally. Our national practice also includes representing home care and nanny agencies in a wide variety of employment law matters. We are your home care legal resource.
